Millstones Bed and Breakfast The Roseway River is an important part of the experience at the Millstones Bed & Breakfast. Guests can read a good book in one of the carefully placed Adrondack chairs on the river bank; have a nap in the hammock over looking the river or sip a freshly brewed cup of coffee with a friend only feet from the water's edge. And, of course, the Roseway River has played an important role of the history of the Millstones. The original gristmill, built on the property in 1785, was destroyed by fire in 1796. The millstones from the gristmill, the rock canal, and the granite foundations can still be seen at the Millstones today.
