Located on a spacious two and one-half acres of shady maples, fragrant roses and colorful flower gardens, our Inn is conveniently close to the town centre, yet a world apart. The Gillespie House Inn
offers seven spacious, graciously appointed guest rooms, each with private bath. Antique furniture, hardwood floors, down duvets and comfortable beds await. Five fireplaces add to the warmth and ambiance. Our comfortable library is the perfect place for planning your next day's activities, chatting with other guests, catching up on the news or relaxing by the fire.

A hearty breakfast is served daily. The menu features a daily cooked selection, fresh fruit, cereals and yogurt, home made muffins, whole grain breads and bagels, complete with a bottomless cup of fresh brewed coffee or tea.

The Davison
Named for the original landowners. This sunny and spacious room overlooking flower gardens and lawns furnished with both a queen size mahogany four post bed and a twin size mahogany four post bed, oriental carpets and antique armoire. This room has an en-suite 4 piece bath.

The Whitehall
Named after the Whitehall area of Parrsboro. This ground floor room is wheelchair accessible and is furnished with a queen size hickory sleigh bureau and desk. The spacious 4 pc. bath is both accessible and esthetically appealing.

The Elderkin
Spacious and bright, this room is decorated in warm pine and features a marble fireplace. Overlooking the front gardens and lawn, the south facing window welcomes the morning sun, great for early risers. The room has a queen size pine sleigh bed and 4 piece en-suite bath with antique claw foot tub and shower. This room is named for the family of Albert C. Elderkin, lumberman and trader, who purchased the home in 1908.
