The Dragonfly Inn
There's nothing typical about the Dragonfly Inn - which is what attracted us to it in the first place. Alive with vibrant colour and rich textures both inside and out - it is an exceptional beauty. It's fine lines and open facade are complimented by nearly an acre of green space, gardens and mature trees including the grand poplars that frame our front yard standing gracefully in place for over one hundred years. Our approach to esthetic and design remains simple, elegant and casual - we think of it as "eclectic" some how it works. Within this facility we offer two complimentary styles of accomodation; the Bed and Breakfast in the main house, sinfully decadent and adult focused, 4 1/2 star luxury operates April 1 - October 15. The Coach House, once a stylish place to park those new fangled motorcars, now six rooms (three bottom, three top) charmingly decorated, completely self-contained, rated at 3 1/2 stars, totally familiy friendly at a budget friendly price operating April 1 - November 30.
While the building is spectacular, what we really offer is "opportunity". The opportunity to step, in large part, back in time to a quieter, more gentle pace. A place where the streets are safe, where the stars can be seen in the night sky, where the birds wake you up each morning, where the air and water is clear and clean, where you have the space to laugh... think... breathe... and rest... that you may return to your busy life refreshed and ready for what's next.
